Our Story
Fancie was born through a love of all things sweet, sticky and delicious.
Tired of seeing the same old bakery window displays with shelf after shelf of beige cakes, Amanda set about using her skills acquired as a pastry chef to re invent the cake shop window.
Our vision is to live in a world where there is only great cake.
Baked fresh every morning using the finest ingredients and traditional methods our little cakes are baked, cooled, piped and passed on to our customers with the same loving feeling that Amanda started Fancie in the beginning. Our team of cake obsessed Bakers ensure nothing leaves the bakery unless they are 100% satisfied with it. This means that each flavour must pass the taste test before leaving the bakery… it’s a hard life!
When asked recently what Fancie means to them, Lisa, a Fancie Facebook Fan, really summed our story up, “Fancie is a sugary paradise that brightens up my day and will never let me down. Too good to share, but too nice to keep a secret.” We absolutely agree.
